There are various ways to bet on the Cheltenham Gold Cup ? Here are a few ideas on the various bets that you could place:

Win

A straight win bet where you bet your horse just to win. Your selection must cross the line first but if it does then you have beat the bookies!

Each Way

A good alternative to win betting if your fancy is of higher odds. With each-way betting you are placing a win and a place bet so if your horse was to finish in the first three (if there are eight or more runners) you will still get a nice return.

Betting Without The Favourite

For purposes of this bet the Favourite (probably Kauto Star) is ignored and a totally separate set of prices is produced as if Kauto was not in the race.

If Kauto does win the race this bet is settled on whoever finishes second, if he doesnt then you get paid out on the natural winner.
